Last weekend was the 113th Annual Meeting of the Archaeological Institute of America, which was a great success. It’s always nice to see old friends–and make new ones.
There was a terrific colloquium about the region that I work at in Turkey: Recent Research in the Elmalı Basin: A Memorial Colloquium for Machteld J. Mellink, which brought together many scholars in that area together, including those from my excavation, Hacımusalar Höyük.
